Baby Dedication Request Form

There are many churches that have been practicing baby dedication instead of baby baptism. What is the difference?

A Baby Dedication is a ceremony the believing parents makes a public commitment to raise their chld in the fear and admonition of the LORD. Baptism is a sacrament by which the person being baptized is announcing their faith in Christ and their commitment to live for him.

How often does Epiphany Fellowship do baby dedications?

Parents who are Covenant Community Members can request to have their baby dedicated at any time. They can fill out the form for baby dedication on the Epiphany Fellowship website. Once this is received one of the pastors will get in touch with the family and set up a time to meet with them. After the family has met with the pastor a time will be set for the baby dedication ceremony.

What are the requirements for having a baby dedicated at Epiphany?

At least one parent needs to be a Covenant Community Member. Parents must meet with one of the pastors prior to scheduling a date for the dedication ceremony. Children should normally be in the age range of 6 months to 1 year, but exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.
