Our Fundamentals

God

There is only one God, The LORD (Deut. 6:4,1Tim. 2:5). God is one in essence, but exists eternally in three persons (Eph. 1:1-14, Matt. 3:16-17, John 12, Acts 5). The three persons that God reveals Himself in is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God's Word

The 66 books found in the bible are totally and equally inerrant, infallible, and are God’s main form of revelation (2Tim. 3:16-17; 2Peter 1:20-21).

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah spoken of in the Law, The Prophets, and the Writings (OT). He existed eternally with God (Jn 1:1). He was born of a literal virgin birth. Jesus Christ is 100% God and 100% Man, therefore deeming Him the only adequate sacrifice for the sinfulness of man (Philippians. 2:5-11, 1John 4:1-4). He has ascended in to heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father, waiting for His immanent return at an undisclosed time (Matt24:36).

Salvation

Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone (John 14:6, Eph. 2:8-9, Rom. 5:1). By repenting of our sins and trusting in Him as the substitution for our sins , we are saved from the wrath of God (Rom. 5:9, 2Cor. 5:17-21).

Sin

Man is totally depraved, unable to solve the problem of his sinful position or do any work that will close the gap between himself and the Holy God (Isa 64:6; Romans 3:10-19).

Eternity

Heaven is a real place that will be the eternal resting place in addition to a new earth for those who have trusted in Christ for eternal salvation (Rev. 21:1).

Hell is a literal place of eternal torment created for fallen angels and all who do not know Jesus Christ in the pardon of their sin (Matt. 25:41, Rev. 20).

The Church

The Church is Christ’s fiance' in whom He has purchased with His own blood to be His stout and stealth representatives through a proper response to Him by being faithful through both life and lips. She has been known in scripture to go by several aliases: priests, bride, body, flock, household, sheep, temple, saints, and many others (Matt 16:18-20, Eph 4, 1 Cor 12, He 10:25, Eph 2:20, 1Pet 2:9).
